Last updated: October 22, 2026

Ark Learning Hub (“Ark”, “we”, “us”) provides in-home Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services to children and families in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. When you contact us, you may share personal details about yourself and your child. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

We handle personal information, including personal health information, in line with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where it applies, and the professional standards of our regulatory college.

This policy covers information collected through this website, including our consultation request form, and when you contact us by email or phone. If your child begins services with Ark, we’ll give you separate consent and privacy information during intake that explains how clinical records are handled.

1. What we collect

When you request a consultation, we collect your name, email address and phone number (optional), your child’s age range, the areas you’d like support with, any message you choose to write, and your preferred way to be contacted.

When you email or call us, we collect the information you choose to share.

When you visit the website, our website host automatically processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver and secure the site. We don’t use this information to identify you.

We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools on this website. To display text, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google. You can read Google’s privacy policy to learn more.

Please keep it general. Don’t include detailed medical, diagnostic or treatment information in the form or by email. We’ll talk about your child’s needs during your consultation, where we can do so privately.

2. Why we collect it

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We won’t use it for marketing or send you newsletters unless you ask us to.

3. Your consent

By submitting the consultation form or contacting us, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes described above. If you share information about a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to share it.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We’ll then stop using your information, except where the law requires us to keep it.

4. Who can see your information

5. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored in another country may be subject to the laws of that country, including laws that allow authorities there to access it.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this website, password-protected accounts, and limiting access to people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take care to protect yours.

If a privacy breach involving your information occurs, we will notify you and, where required, the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.

7. How long we keep it

If you don’t go on to receive services from Ark, we keep your consultation request and related messages for up to 12 months, then securely delete them. If your child begins services with us, relevant information becomes part of their client record and is kept as required by law and professional standards.
